Kissed by the southwest sun
And the desert sand
She’s got the color of               sky in her eye
And a rattlesnake                       in her left hand
A grey wolf walks beside her
To the mesa bend
They gaze into the crystal blue     Beyond horizon’s end

     Oh-oh-oh
     She’s an edgewalker
     Oh-oh-oh
     Stepping through the light
     Oh-oh-oh
     She’s a dreamtalker
In the language of the night

With a paintbrush in her pocket
And an easel on Eagle Crags Trail
She’s making art                                     from the image in her heart
While the wolf nods and wags his tail
As the paint dries on her canvas
In the sunset’s afterglow                   She saves the light                                  and the snake takes a bite
Out of the dark night of her soul

     Oh-oh-oh
     She’s an edgewalker
     Oh-oh-oh
     Stepping through the light
     Oh-oh-oh
     She’s a dreamtalker
In the language of the night

     Oh-oh-oh
     She’s an edgewalker
     Oh-oh-oh
     Stepping through the light
     Oh-oh-oh
     She’s a skywatcher
Like a raven in the night
